Over the past day, on May 23, 5 people were injured as a result of enemy fire in the region. On the night of May 24, isolated shelling continued, however, fortunately, no one was injured. This was reported by their own sources in the Kharkiv Regional Civil-Military Administration.

Where did the Russian infidels go?

The Kharkiv OVA reported that over the past day Russian infidels shelled the cities of Merefa and Dergachi . In addition, settlements in Izyumsky and Lozovsky districts of the region suffered from enemy fire.

According to preliminary data, on May 23, five people were injured as a result of enemy shelling of the following settlements and districts in the Kharkiv region:

Kharkiv – one person;
Dergachevsky district – one person ;
the village of Gusarovka, Izyumsky district, two victims;
the village of Blyznetsy, Lozovsky district, one person.

The current situation in the Kharkiv region

The Russian occupiers continue to cynically shell the Dergachev community. In this case, the enemy uses artillery and aircraft, including prohibited cluster shells. According to the head of the UTC, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, enemy fire covered almost all settlements.

In the Kievsky district of Kharkov, the Russians damaged the local Orthodox church. In addition, in one of the settlements of the Chuguevsky district, as a result of enemy shelling, a fire broke out at once in four houses, a store and a cafe. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko released horrific footage of the destruction of Severnaya Saltovka, a district of Kharkiv where 300,000 Ukrainians lived until February 24.

Total since the start of Russia's large-scale invasion rescuers have already removed more than 150 bodies from the rubble in the regional center. At the same time, more than 250 people were saved.

To the north of the Kharkov region and to Izyum, the enemy introduced additional forces. Thus, the Russians are trying to prevent the Ukrainian defenders from breaking through towards Volchansk.
