The invaders stormed the areas of settlements only in two directions. And there they failed. Obviously, the offensive potential of the Russians has decreased. This is reported in the morning summary of the General Staff on July 31. There are no significant changes in the Volyn, Polessky and Seversk directions. Russians shelled the village of Nikolaevka, Chernihiv region.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the invaders are trying to prevent the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards the border in the north and north-east of Kharkiv region.
Kharkiv and Slavyansk directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the invaders fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery at the districts of Kharkov, Zolochev, Pitomnik, Borshcheva, Lesnaya, Russian and Cherkasskaya Tishki and Mospanovoe.
On Slavyansky In the direction the Russians attacked the areas of Grushuvakha, Dolina, Krasnopolye, Dibrovnoye, Mazanovka, Protopopovka, Chepel, Bolshaya Kamyshevakha, Nortsovka, Bogorodichny, Vernopolye and Karnaukhovka.
Kramatorsk and Bakhmut directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy fired from tanks and artillery around the area near Verkhnekamenskoye, Starodubovka, Piskunovka, Seversk, Belogorovka, Grigorievka, Disputed and Vyemka.
The Russians tried to storm Verkhnekamennoye and Seversk. However, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repulsed the offensive.
In the Bakhmut direction, artillery shelling was recorded in the areas of Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Pokrovsky, Bakhmutsky and Novolugansky.
The invaders stormed Pokrovskoye and the territory of the Uglegorsk TPP. They again suffered losses and retreated.
Avdeevskoe, Novopavlovsk, Zaporizhia and Yuzhnobuzhskoe directions
Artillery shelling of 16 settlements was recorded in the Avdiivka, Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhia directions. The enemy launched air strikes near Krasnogorovka and Kamenka.
In the Yuzhnobuzh direction, the invaders are defending themselves, trying to restrain the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. They fired cannon and rocket artillery and tanks at the line of contact.
