Vladimir Zelensky recently visited Bucha after he was released from the Russian military. There, local residents told him about the atrocities committed by the invaders.
The head of state met with the elderly spouses. He spoke about this in an interview with the American television channel CBS, published by the Office of the President.
An elderly man told the president that he survived the Second World War. He lived all his life in his house in Bucha, so he once found the Nazis who came to his house.
The words of my grandfather in Bucha killed me when he said he didn’t think that there will be someone to hate more than the Nazis. The Nazis took everything, but these people (the Russians – Channel 24) were worse. They didn't ask anything. First, windows and doors were broken,” the president emphasized.
The Russians destroyed everything simply because the Ukrainians had it, but they didn’t. They constantly said: “Look how they have everything cleaned and clean here.” Zelensky noted that the Russian military behaved like animals.
The president's grandfather went through the Second World War, so the head of state always thought that Nazism could not be worse. However, it turned out that our northern neighbor is much worse.
