Russians are already actively shouting about this: why Putin is afraid of China Angela Figin

Today, Beijing completely dictates its terms to the Russian economy. That is why the Kremlin is afraid that China will finally turn Russia into its colony.

Vladimir Ohryzko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007 – 2009), told Channel 24 about this. He noted that Vladimir Putin is afraid of Xi Jinping, because he has lost all levers of influence on China.

“China has gone very seriously”

By seizing economic positions, one country begins to rule another and can dictate its terms. The Russians themselves are already shouting thatafraid of becoming a Chinese colony. In particular, there are discussions on propaganda channels about how the Russians allowed the Chinese to sit on their heads.

If the Americans are consistent and explain to the Chinese in a friendly manner what this will mean for them, then Russia will only have to raise the white flag, said Ogryzko.

Of course, the Kremlin is afraid of a final economic protectorate on the part of China. However, the Russians cannot oppose this, because they have nothing with which to do so.

China has gone very seriously. Now there is information that Chinese trucks have already ousted KamAZ from the Russian market. Russians buy more Chinese trucks, because despite their not the best quality, they are still better than the Russian auto industry, – noted the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

According to him, now the Russians can play only on ideology, which for a certain time can maintain balance. Like, we must jointly resist the West.

However, despite all their ideological blinkeredness, the Chinese know how to count money. If they see that cooperation with Russia is toxic for them, and in exchange they can agree to peacefully coexist with the United States, then it seems to me that China will surrender Russia, Ohryzko added.

By the way, in 2024, trade turnover between Russia and China reached a record level. It amounted to 1.74 trillion yuan. Deliveries of goods from China to Russia increased by 5%, and exports from Russia to China increased by 1% in 2024.
