In the temporarily occupied territories, Russian invaders are beginning to actively build helipads. This was told by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar.

During the telethon, she noted that Russia has not only changed the leadership of the armed forces. She also approached her tactics differently, Channel 24 reports.

The Russians will use helicopters more

They are now actively building helipads in temporarily occupied territories. They are also trying to use a lot of helicopter aviation,” Maliar emphasized.

The Deputy Minister added that since the beginning of the war, Russia has changed its goals. At first, she sought to capture Kyiv and all of Ukraine. So the military did not accumulate.

As for changing the leadership of the armed forces of the aggressor country, this is a way to change tactics. In Russia, they understand that it was not possible to achieve the goals, so they had to radically change everything.

She noted that not only Alexander Dvornikov was appointed to lead the war against Ukraine. In Russia, a number of criminal cases are also being opened against employees who have not coped with their tasks.

It is not so simple with helicopters in Russia

  • Every day in Russia there are less and less helicopters in equipment. Yes, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our military has managed to destroy 155 enemy helicopters.
  • Just the other day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine “landed” a commander's helicopter in the Kharkiv region. The enemy aircraft will no longer see the sky.
  • The story of the Ukrainian military who shot down three Russian helicopters with the help of the Needle is especially impressive. He did this the day after he picked up an anti-aircraft missile system.
  • Earlier, the National Guard showed how the fighters managed to destroy the Russian K-52 Alligator helicopter. This cost the aggressor country at least $15 million.
