Russia violated the maritime cordon with Finland/Collage 24 Kanal

The aggressor country violated the maritime border with Finland. Its vessel ended up in the territorial waters of the neighboring country.

It is noted that the Russian ship crossed the border in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland. The probable violation occurred during the day on July 26.

Russia violates borders

The Border Service has launched an investigation into the incident. The Finnish Defense Ministry said in a statement that Moscow has repeatedly violated its territorial borders. In particular, the fact that four Russian government aircraft entered Finnish airspace off the coast of Loviisi and Porvoo on July 10 has been confirmed.

This is not the first time the Kremlin has resorted to such provocations. For example, air objects from the Russian border are something that Finnish border guards regularly notice.

Recall that on May 21, Moscow decided to arbitrarily change the borders with Lithuania and Finland in the Baltic Sea. The published decree of the Russian Defense Ministry stated its intention to define part of the waters in the eastern Gulf of Finland, as well as near the cities of Baltiysk and Zelenogradsk in the Kaliningrad Region, as its internal sea waters.
