Russian troops that are located near the Oskol River in the Kharkiv region do not have enough strength to prevent the further advance of Ukrainian troops . Instead, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can resume the offensive if they deem it necessary.
Analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) predict the further advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the Oskol River. According to them, the Ukrainian military continues ground attacks in order to create a threat to the enemy along this river.
The front line has shifted
Ukrainian defenders crossed it ford in Borovaya, which is not far from the administrative border of the Lugansk region. This indicates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are consistently and confidently pushing the enemy to the state borders.
ISW analysts believe that the Russian army does not have enough forces to hold back the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Based on information from pro-Russian bloggers, experts claim that the Oskol River is the new front line.
