KAB strikes in the Kharkov region
Russian troops launched attacks in the vicinity of Kharkov and the village of Olkhovka with guided bombs on the afternoon of June 19.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, in the Kievsky district of Kharkov, a hit was recorded on the territory of a children's camp, where a 39-year-old employee was wounded.
In the Shevchenkovsky district of Kharkov, there were also two hits on the territory of a children’s camp, where a 47-year-old worker suffered an acute reaction to stress. A neighboring private residential building was also damaged.
At about 16:30, the Russian Army launched airstrikes on a private residential sector in the village of Olkhovka, Kharkov region. As a result of Russian shelling, a 49-year-old woman was killed and a 59-year-old man was wounded.
According to preliminary data, for attacks on Kharkov and Olkhovka, Russian troops used modified UMPB D-30 aerial bombs from the territory of the Belgorod region.
Collapse of the Vozdukhoflotsky bridge in Kyiv
On the afternoon of June 19, the pedestrian part of the Vozduhoflotsky overpass in Kyiv collapsed, the city military administration and the State Emergency Service reported.
According to the State Emergency Service, rescuers had to cut metal structures using hydraulic and power tools, and also clear roads from destroyed bridge structures.
Fines for sexual harassment on the Internet
A new article will be added to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 8329, which provides for fines and punishment for offensive messages of a sexual nature and other forms of gender-based violence.
According to the law, for sexual harassment, that is, offensive, humiliating actions of a sexual nature, expressed verbally or non-verbally (words, gestures, body movements), in particular, using electronic communications, certain types of punishment are provided.
Among them: fines in the amount of — from 1,360 to 2,720 UAH, public works — from 20 to 40 hours, correctional labor — one month with a deduction of 20% of earnings, administrative arrest — for up to 15 days.
Bill on the creation of the Military Police
In the first reading and as a basis, the Verkhovna Rada supported bill No. 6569-d, which concerns the creation of the Military Police.
According to the document, it should become a military formation with law enforcement functions based on the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be part of the Ministry of Defense.
It is proposed that the Military Police will have the right to search, detain military personnel, record crimes and protect their rights according to NATO standard AJP-3.21.
Transfer of Russian troops from the borders with Finland
Russia transferred to Ukraine most of the personnel and military equipment that were located near the borders with Finland.
According to Yle, citing a source in Finnish military intelligence, despite the fact that the Russian Federation tried to intimidate NATO countries with the outbreak of the Third World War, now the military bases on the border with Finland are more empty than a year ago.
According to the source, Russia has transferred about 80% of its personnel to wage a full-scale war against Ukraine.
Preparation for the Second Peace Summit
Ukraine may invite Russia to the next meeting within the framework of the Peace Summit with international partners to develop a formula for future negotiations to end the war, head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak said in a comment to Bloomberg.
According to him, working groups are preparing details for the next meeting after the Peace Summit.
There is allegedly no time frame for the next meeting, and the prospect of a second Summit did not appear in the outcome document of the June 15-16 meeting in Lucerne.
