Argentina's State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE) has exposed La Compañía, an organization linked to the late Wagner PMC chief Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Lakhta Project, which is engaged in campaigns to manipulate public opinion around the world.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council.

According to official data, the goal of La Compañía is to create a group of supporters of Russian interests, launch fakes, collect political information and influence non-governmental organizations in Argentina.

As the CPD emphasized, the Kremlin’s statements about alleged non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries are absolutely untrue.

“Reality once again demonstrates the opposite: Russian special operations continue throughout the world, trying to influence political processes and public sentiment,” the CPD emphasized.

Earlier, the former deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Ilya Pavlenko, said that Russian intelligence is expanding its influence in European countries – Russian agents are surfacing in Romania, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland. At the same time, Riyadh is becoming the center of Russian espionage activities.
