Nikolai Patrushev
In Russia, the struggle for power, because everyone understands that Vladimir Putin is not eternal. True, not all contenders for the bloody Kremlin throne can outlive the Russian dictator himself.
The second most influential person in Russia is considered the secretary of the Security Council, no way Partushev. Therefore, it is Patrushev who can become Putin's successor. The American edition of The Washington Post is inclined to this opinion.
But when they began to talk about Patrushev as the future Russian president, an attempt was made on him. The author of the telegram channel GENERALL SVR, who writes about the behind-the-scenes actions of the Russian authorities, convinces of this.
When exactly the attempt on Patrushev's life was made is not indicated. It is only known that the Russian politician became ill when he returned home. But the guards saved him. They quickly called for paramedics. They said that immediate hospitalization was needed.
But Partushev was sent not to an ordinary Russian hospital, but to a medical unit that serves Putin. At the same time, the guards did not allow him to be taken in a regular ambulance – the guards took him there in their car, accompanied by doctors.
Doctors found a synthetic poison in Patrushev's tests. And when his condition returned to normal, he was sent home.
Only a quick reaction of the guards saved the “successor to the throne”. And also, probably, that the amount of poison was negligible. This may be due to both a miscalculation of the perpetrator, and an attempt not to kill Patrushev, but only to “warn” or frighten him.
Now in Russia they are trying to hide this story as much as possible. So, not so many people know about it – except for doctors and security, only three people from the leadership of the FSB and five people involved in the investigation of this case.
“Who is behind the assassination attempt, what are the motives and how did it become possible in general, the organization of the actually completed assassination attempt on a representative of power of such a high level is yet to be sorted out. But, something tells me, this is only the beginning of a big redistribution in the elites,” the author notes.
