On March 26, the invaders entered Slavutych, Kiev region. However, the plans of the invaders for the city remain incomprehensible.

This was announced by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko on the air of the unified news marathon. Channel 24 broadcasts the details.

The situation in Slavutych

Earlier, there was confirmed information that the mayor of Slavutych, Yury Fomichev, who was taken hostage by the invaders after entering to the city, now is at large. The official spoke to the residents of the city and said that he had been negotiating with the invaders.

The invaders promised him to leave the city if the local authorities agreed to leave one Russian checkpoint. At the same time, the invaders demanded that all representatives of the National Police of Ukraine be withdrawn from Slavutych.

The Russians really demand that we remove the police. But we understand that the following requirements will follow after that. Traditionally, they start with supposedly “soft” demands, and then demand generally unacceptable things,” Denisenko said.

By the way, according to the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the situation in Slavutych is rather tense and uncertain. What plans the invaders have for the city is still unclear.
