After the incident, the runway of Antalya airport was temporarily closed. Planes heading to the airport were diverted and a number of flights were delayed. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the cause of the fire is being determined.

Authorities said that due to the closure of the runway, planes were stopped landing and some flights were delayed. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire, the cause of the engine fire is being investigated, AirportHaber reported.
