White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre epicly called the aggressor country the “Russian People's Republic”. It happened during a speech to reporters.

Concluding her speech to the media, she spoke about the plans of US President Joe Biden to meet with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
According to her, politicians will discuss the challenges to international security, including those that “the Russian People's Republic has thrown to the United States and Europe.” At the same time, none of those present corrected Jean-Pierre's mistake.
