The Russians stole the logo for “Vkusno i Tochka”/Collage of Channel 24

The logo for the Russian fast food chain Bon Appetit i Tochka, which replaced McDonald's, was stolen from the Portuguese company Matosmix.

The Russians stole the logo

The journalist noted that the company is engaged in animal feed. But he added that no propaganda is needed against the Russians, because they compromise themselves.

Yes, this is not a joke … I have been saying for a long time that no anti-Russian propaganda is needed . They do a great job on their own, without outside help,” the journalist wrote.

The logos are almost identical – they have the same graphic elements. Only the color and proportions differ.

Before that, users of social networks have already paid attention to the similarity of the Tasty and Tochka logo with other well-known brands. Most of all, the work of Russian designers resembles the emblem of the record company Warner Music Group and the WOG gas station network.

Only the names have been changed

With the Vkusno i Tochka fast food chain, the Russians proved again that they really don't know how to come up with something new and unique of their own. After all, the menu of the Russian copy remained the same as it was in McDonald's. Even the names of the dishes were almost not changed – they simply removed the prefix “Poppy”.

The employees of the new establishment did not receive a different uniform either – they all received old clothes that were inherited from McDonald's. Moreover, the old symbols have simply been erased from the menu, trays and uniforms of McDonald's. At the same time, the workers themselves had to destroy the badges. In social networks, they gave each other advice on how to do it more efficiently.

How McDonald's left Russia

  • At first, the company closed the establishments, but employees received salaries. Then everyone realized that the war was for a long time and the company sold the Russian network to its partner, the current licensee Alexander Govor. The businessman previously managed 25 restaurants in Russia. The sale and purchase agreement provides for the safety of jobs for the staff for at least 2 years.
  • On the last day, the Russians were looking for a restaurant in long queues, people were selling burgers even via the Internet.
