Russian Lend-Lease in action: Ukrainian defenders show captured vehicles

Even during the autumn counter-offensive in Ukraine, there was a lot of joking about the fact that the biggest lend-lease for Ukraine was arranged by the Russians, because the equipment fairly replenished Ukrainian stocks. In particular, now captured tanks are also used on the battlefield.

In particular, our soldiers use the captured T-90. Our soldiers captured it during the battles of the Sumy region.

How a captured tank works on enemy positions

The T-90 tank is a modernization of the Soviet T-72 “Ural”, developed during the Soviet era. Now the trophy is led by one of the tank units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers actively repel enemy assaults on one of the directions of the front – first they cover the occupiers with mortars, and then the T-90 is used. The fire is adjusted using a drone.

The commander of the combat vehicle with the call sign “Shar Pei” says that thanks to the adjustment of the fire, it is possible to achieve almost 100% of the hit. However, the occupiers continue to throw manpower and restore assault attempts.

They (the Russians – Channel 24) climb and climb. There were rains, then frosts. The weather is damp, dirty, but they still climb through the mud, – says the “Shar Pei”.

After the successful operation of the tank, the invaders returned fire. After the first enemy shot, the film crew and the military decided to move to a safer place, and after a few minutes, about 10 enemy shells flew to the attack site. Probably from the Grad MLRS.
