Russian journalist suggested how Putin can use the incident near Bryansk

by alex

It is not at all necessary for Russian President Vladimir Putin to convene the Security Council because of the work of “Ukrainian saboteurs” in the Bryansk region. He can use the situation to his advantage.

This was told to Channel 24 by Timur Olevsky, a Russian opposition journalist for The Insider. According to him, the Russian dictator probably has several plans of action.

What is Putin up to?

Timur Olessky explained that the current situation does not threaten Russia's security.

This situation can be used to extract some benefits from this, he is convinced.

According to the oppositionist, in order to make urgent decisions on how to protect against several people or several dozen people who have not gone further than 10 kilometers into Russian territory, Putin does not need to hold a Security Council.

According to Olevsky, it is enough just to deal with this incident to local services.

The rhetoric of the Russian dictator

The oppositionist focused on the fact that Putin will not do something in haste.

“In order to think about how to use this story for your own purposes, you need time to prepare,” he stressed.

In his opinion, one of the options for solving the problem is to start talking to the Russians, mobilize society, or come up with a reverse plan for revenge.

We must understand that if there was a possibility of retribution, we would take revenge. There is a feeling that the forces are simply running out for revenge,” he said.

Olevsky said that the situation near Bryansk could be used to advantage for negotiations, for example, with China.

“Now Putin is calling Xi Jinping on the phone and says: “Well, look. You see? And you offer a “peace plan” there. Let there be something written to return the yacht to me! Let's write down for Bryansk, probably, my yacht,” he joked.

In his opinion, Putin is considering all possible options.

“Ukrainian saboteurs” in Bryansk: what is known

  • On March 2, Russian propagandists began to spread a fake, allegedly a “Ukrainian DRG” had entered the Bryansk region. However, according to military expert Oleg Zhdanov, this is just an ordinary operation of the special services of the aggressor country.
  • Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak noted that such stupid provocations in Russia may be repeated in the future. Thus, the Kremlin will try to mobilize its communities.
  • At the same time, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin reacted to the farce that Russia staged in the Bryansk region. Putin announced the alleged “act of terror” and traditionally blamed the mythical “neo-Nazis”.
