Su-27
The Russian Su-27 fighter was intercepted by the US and British RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea. They approached the border of Russia, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the National Center for Defense Management.
It is noted that Russian airspace control devices recorded two targets that were moving towards the country's border. Su-27 of the Southern Military District was raised to meet them from the ground.
Earlier, a video of the interception of US Air Force B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers by Russian Su-27 and Su-30 fighters over the waters of the Black Sea appeared on the network. The footage also shows talks of Russian pilots about blocking foreign aircraft.
