During a press conference, Volodymyr Zelensky commented on an issue related to Russian elites. He called only to strengthen the sanctions and pressure on them.
According to Zelensky, the Russian elite – big business, the oligarchs – fell under sanctions. And it is not surprising that many of them do not like the blocking of accounts, yachts, real estate.
The pressure needs to be increased
Zelensky noted that the Russian elite is not I would like to have 20 – 30 – 40 small countries instead of great Russia. After all, they are unlikely to seek to share the business, that they have inside the aggressor country. And that's why the pressure needs to be increased.
We think a lot about someone. Our heads are filled with other unnecessary information. They (the Russian elite – Channel 24) will sort it out themselves. More pressure, more sanctions, more isolation of Russia. And their elite will think what they can do inside the state so that with their new policy someone wants to sit down at the table,” he said.
