Russian elite cannot break Zelensky's will – Foreign Ministry on Lavrov's statement on “negotiations”

by alex

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in an interview with Russia 1, said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky ” can change his mind at any moment” and start negotiations with Russia. Such sayings by Lavrov demonstrate the helplessness of Russian diplomacy.

This was stated by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko, channel 24 reports. According to him, Lavrov had no choice but to work out the role of a propagandist for domestic consumers.

He stressed that from all that was said in the interview deserves only another attack on the President of Ukraine.

No matter how hard the Russian leadership tries, it cannot break the will of the Ukrainian leader. He is furious with his weakness, and therefore spreads nonsense about “instructions” from Washington and London. The Putin regime has missed its chance for negotiations. There are no negotiations with terrorists. This is a common world practice,” Nikolenko stressed.

As Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already noted, Ukraine will negotiate with Russia on a different Russian president, and also, obviously, a different foreign minister.

“And Lavrov has many more interviews ahead – in The Hague, Bucha, Mariupol or in another city, which will be determined as the site of a tribunal for Russian war criminals,” he stressed.

Why Zelensky does not want to talk with Putin

Ukraine has officially refused to negotiate with Russia In particular, Vladimir Putin will be the president of the aggressor country for now. Meanwhile, the Kremlin apostates are still hoping that we will agree to the absurd conditions of the occupier.

Vladimir Zelensky stressed that it is not in his principles to start a conversation with someone who puts ultimatums. Therefore, today the President of Ukraine sees no grounds for negotiations with Russia.

I see no desire on their part to be constructive. As for their ultimatums, I don't care who put forward these ultimatums – he (Putin – Channel 24) or someone else. This is my principle – I will not speak with those who issue ultimatums,” Zelensky said.

The head of state stressed that any agreements can be reached only if Russian troops are completely withdrawn from Ukraine.
