An activist from Kherson revealed a scheme for stealing Ukrainian grain/Collage of Channel 24
Russian invaders keep stealing Ukrainian grain. It is exported and sold in Russia and Belarus.
To do this, they resort to various fraudulent schemes. Kherson activist Vladimir Molchanov told Channel 24 about this.
Russians use 2 schemes
It is known that in the temporarily occupied territories, Russian invaders do not disdain theft Ukrainian harvest. Yes, they actively use two methods:
- Select products from farmers who left the Kherson region or refused to cooperate.
- They buy it cheaply – 1 hryvnia per kilogram of vegetables, and for grain or sunflower – $ 90 per ton.
“By the way, they did not sell this grain for export through Nikolaev and Odessa, they were waiting until the price rises to $200 per ton. Now it is $400 per ton,” the activist said.
Most of the grain is sent to the Russian domestic market.
However, exporting products on your own is not easy. To do this, you need to go through Russian checkpoints and customs. Those who manage to export products to the Crimea are “lucky”.
“Only experienced traitors-collaborators have such an opportunity. In the territory of the occupied Crimea, they can sell grain for $250. Then it goes to Russia by rail across the Crimean bridge. And they sell it to Siberia, for example,” Molchanov explained.
The activist emphasizes that such a price is much cheaper than the one at which Russian producers sell grain in Krasnodar or Stavropol. The world prices there are more than $300.Moreover, traitors to Ukraine resort to transporting foreign products. They clean it up with their equipment and take it away for free.
The Russian military, customs officers, FSB officers make money on Ukrainian grain,” Molchanov said.
Russians and Belarusians they love Kherson
The activist added that “Kherson” is quite a popular brand in Russia and Belarus. Therefore, merchants can pass off Turkish vegetables as Kherson ones. “Despite the fact that you have to pay a lot of bribes on the route, the price of 1 hryvnia leaves the buyers of stolen goods in the win,” he summed up.
