< p>The United States has updated the list of sanctions against Russia, adding Russian oligarchs, officials and enterprises associated with the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

This is stated in the message of the US Department of the Treasury on September 14.

So, almost 100 individuals and legal entities were added to the sanctions list of Americans.

Among the Russian legal entities that were subject to sanctions are — Rosavtodor, AvtoVAZ, Moskvich, NPO Saturn and Soyuz, Sollers, Arctic Energies, Cryogenmash, AGD Diamonds, Tonar engineering plant, Ak Bars Bank and SINCO Bank, Globaltrans.

Also included in the US sanctions letter are companies related with minerals — Yansk Mining Company, Taimyr Resources, Taimyr Mining Company, Siberian Coal Company, Redmetconcentrate.

At the same time, this time personal sanctions affected the president of the Russian rolling stock manufacturer Transmashholding JSC Andrey Bokarev and his wife Olga. Bokarev has connections with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

In addition, Bokarev’s business partner Iskandar Makhmudov, founder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company JSC, and his son Jahangir were sanctioned.

In particular, US sanctions affected Shoigu's deputy Alexei Krivoruchko, chief designer of the aircraft engine scientific and technical complex Soyuz and member of the board of directors of the Balashikha Foundry and Mechanical Plant (also under sanctions) Mkrtich Okroyan and his family.

Russian companies from military-industrial complex, which were subject to sanctions: Gavrilov-Yamsky machine-building plant Agat, JSC Zvezda, which is part of Rostec, the Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering and the Ulyanovsk Cartridge Plant.

Before this, the United States stated that they are concerned about the deepening military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.
