Roman Kostenko on the situation in the South/Channel 24
The situation is really very tense, it's true. Artillery strikes all the time, the enemy has great resources and therefore it is very difficult to talk about some kind of counteroffensive.
People's deputy and military man Roman Kostenko spoke about this on the air of Channel 24. He also added that the Ukrainian army can respond pointwise, but we cannot afford to fire like they always do and almost around the clock.
Therefore, to say that they are weak or we push them back – it's not worth it. We now need to “build up muscle mass”, we really need the weapons that our partners promised us, – says Kostenko.
“After all, this is necessary in order to” smoke out “the equipment that they buried borders of the Nikolaev and Kherson regions. It is very hot in the South now, there are constant shelling. Therefore, we are holding back the enemy with all our might to prevent him from going further,” says Roman Kostenko.
