The construction of a Russian lunar base, it is possible to give robots the descendants “Fedora”, anthropomorphic products Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research (FEDOR) in August 2019 flew to the International space station (ISS), told RIA Novosti Executive Director of “Android technology” Eugene Dudorov.

“The astronaut will be able to work on the moon a week or two. Robots will maintain the space infrastructure between shifts manned expeditions. They will build homes and do other work. It needs to be and anthropomorphic robots, and complex wheeled robots with manipulators”, — said the expert.

Dudorov noted that investments in robotics and artificial intelligence Russia lags behind the USA, China and Europe “on orders”. “There are no necessary investments in the development of artificial intelligence in the development of component base, the development of robotics as such. In Russia the subject of robotics does not have its own shelter,” said the head.

In September 2019 Dudorov said that the robots to work on the outer surface of the ISS and flight tests of advanced piloted spacecraft “eagle” (“Federation”) is planned to create several copies, some of which will be destroyed during ground tests.

In August of the same year, the spacecraft “Soyuz MS-14” robot with FEDOR on Board failed the first time docked to ISS, starting to oscillate when approaching the station.
