Russia Will Collapse: What Decisive Step Can Trump Take Angela Figin

During the election campaign, Donald Trump promised to end Russia's war against Ukraine. What decisive step will the newly elected US president have to take to keep his word?

Journalist and host of the Khodorkovsky LIVE program Sergei Aslanyan told Channel 24 about this. By the way, Foreign Policy believes that Russia's victory in the war with Ukraine could be a serious blow to the United States.

Kill two birds with one stone

Forcing Russia to peace is a serious geopolitical task based on economics. First of all, on the price of oil. According to the journalist, when Trump begins to act as president, he will continue the fight against China.

In particular, Trump will introduce an increased tax duty on Chinese goods, and an embargo on some groups. Due to excess production in China, a crisis will begin, prices will fall, which will affect Beijing's solvency and it will dictate a new price for a barrel of oil to Russia.

In the fight against China, it is possible to collapse the Russian economy by dictating to the world or forcing it to reduce the price of a barrel of oil. Then China will begin to experience economic difficulties, and Russia will collapse, Aslanyan noted.

According to him, China is almost the only partner that plays in Russia's favor. Therefore, difficulties in China will mean trouble for Russia.

After Russia is left without its main partner, strategist and advisor, big problems will begin. This will not happen instantly, but in about six months the result will be noticeable, – the journalist added.

At the same time, on the other side of the scale there may be the supply of weapons to Ukraine. However, today the American electorate is little interested in the war in Ukraine.

By the way, Donald Trump announced plans for the mass development of oil wells in the United States, which provoked a 2% drop in Brent oil prices.
