Russian propagandists are creating new fakes to discredit the Ukrainian military, undermine trust in them among the civilian population and demoralize society.
This time, enemy Telegram channels are spreading a story about a supposed soldier of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade who committed rape in the Sumy region. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

The Center for Political Affairs notes that the original publication does not contain a single mention of the defendant’s affiliation with the Ukrainian army.
The authors of the enemy's propaganda added this detail to create yet another fake narrative about “criminality among Ukrainian military personnel.”
“This is a typical information tactic of the Kremlin propaganda, aimed at dehumanizing the defenders of Ukraine, undermining trust in them among the civilian population and demoralizing society. We urge you to be critical of information on the Internet, especially if it comes from Russian sources,” the Center for Disciplined Action noted.
It recently became known that the Russian Federation began collecting coordinates of the TCC in Ukraine in order to disrupt the mobilization process and sow panic among the population.
Enemy channels are distributing a Telegram bot among citizens, where data from recruitment centers can supposedly be dumped.
