The key thing in these exercises is that the parties practiced sinking American submarine. It is known that submarines are one of the main elements of defense in the Indo-Pacific and they will certainly participate in defensive operations regarding Taiwan and the Philippines.

According to American expertise, it is said that the Russians passed on to the Chinese practices that they still had during the Soviet era. They had extensive experience in studying the American submarine fleet and are now transferring these skills, increasing interoperability for joint maneuvers, in other words, war,” Kharitonov emphasized.

Judging by this, we must understand that Russia is preparing for new aggression. And the security of the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific is inextricably linked, that is, for us Japan, the Philippines, and Taiwan are as close as Europe. There is only one country between us – Russia.
