Russia produces drones in its own country, but supplies components from abroad — Zelensky

Despite the fact that the Shaheds are actually already Russian, since the Russian Federation produces them on its own territory, the components for them are supplied from abroad.

President Vladimir Zelensky stated this in his video address.

— First, Iran transferred ready-made Shaheds to Russia, then their own production was mastered in Tatarstan – one of the national territories that Moscow still controls. And although these Shaheds are actually Russian, they still could not have been made there without foreign supplies.

Each such Shahed, like each Russian missile, is made on the basis of foreign components – critical components, without which Russian terrorism would be impossible, — he emphasized.

The President noted that the thirty-one Shaheds with which the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine last night are about 2,635 components from other countries: microcircuits, switches, transceivers.

– All supplies of any components for terrorism to Russia must be cut off in order to stop this terrorism. And this concerns not only the protection of life in Ukraine, – he said.

The President emphasized that now Russian Shaheeds are striking our homes, infrastructure, but at any moment the Russian Federation can transfer terror to any other country – wherever they are ordered.

— And now different countries are already seeing incidents with drones on their territory; also, everyone in the world has already seen how much war is changing because of drones, — he added.

According to him, it is necessary to consciously and fundamentally deprive regimes like the Russian one of such terrorist opportunities.

— And absolutely everyone who helps Russia build terrorist potential, circumvent sanctions, build weapons production – they all must answer, he added.
