G7 countries gathered for an extraordinary summit. Volodymyr Zelensky appealed to the participants to ensure air defense.

“Every ten minutes I receive a message about the use of Iranian “Shaheds” by the enemy. For one hour this morning, as an example: 5:01 – “Shahed” was shot down over the Black Sea, 05:11 – another shot down, 5:13 another 5:28 again “Shahed”… And so almost every hour! Plus 28 launches of Russian missiles today. And that's just this morning. And 84 missiles yesterday,” Zelensky said.
Thousands of Iranian drones
According to Zelensky, it is necessary to provide an air shield for Ukraine. He noted that when Ukraine receives a sufficient number of modern and effective air defense systems, missile terror will cease to work.
I thank everyone who has already helped us to ensure our air defense system, which makes it possible to neutralize some of the Russian missiles and drones. But! Russia ordered 2,400 Shahids alone from Iran – according to our intelligence, – the president said. must have a sufficient number of missiles for air defense and missile defense. The means must be integrated into the defense system. Zelensky called on defense ministers to discuss this in the Ramstein format.
Who else can protect the Ukrainian sky
Zelensky also addressed British Prime Minister Truss, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida. He asked for help in creating an air shield for Ukraine.
“Millions of people will be grateful to the G7 for such help,” Zelensky added.
