Russia will be able to overtake all EU countries combined in the production of artillery shells as early as 2025, increasing the difference by at least 30%. Such a threat is quite real in the absence of a response or attempts to prevent.

The corresponding statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga during a joint press conference with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell, report correspondents of 24 Kanal.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, next year, if there is no appropriate response or prevention, Russia will be able to produce 30% more artillery shells than all the countries of the European Union combined, the head of the Ukrainian MFA.

According to him, it is already necessary to strategically understand this and strategically prevent it. Initially, as the minister noted, we are talking about the so-called shadow fleet, which even now helps Russia to continue trading energy and oil in circumvention of sanctions.

“Therefore, it is very important that further strengthening of the sanctions policy of the European Union, our partners, also focus on this aspect,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine added.

The other day, Volodymyr Zelensky said at a press conference that one Russian shadow fleet earns about 12 billion dollars monthly. Accordingly, the amount of income for almost three years of war exceeds the amount of all the funds that Ukraine has received from countries around the world.
