Tishkevich answered how much Russia can finance the war/Channel 24 collage
Igor Tishkevich, an analyst and expert at the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, told Channel 24 about this. He noted that the analysis of Russia's finances had already been repeatedly carried out, including recently.
Will Russia have enough money
According to him, now the aggressor state is financially profitable. At the same time, he added that during the war that she unleashed with Ukraine, this is the right tactic for her.
Accordingly, Russia can finance the war for another 2-3 years against Ukraine from its available stocks. Even if big oil profits stop now,โ Tishkevich noted.
Technological lash
In addition, as the analyst noted, the technological whips of sanctions do not strike immediately. He stressed that now in Russia there is really a catastrophic situation with electronics.
However, Tishkevich noted that any company has stocks of components. There is also such a thing as equipment in storage.
We are very lucky that Russian ensigns love to steal. This means that this equipment is simply dismantled, – Tishkevich emphasized.
However, if we take the entire amount of old Soviet equipment in storage, or relatively old, then we cannot expect an early failure of Russia in the war with Ukraine. As the analyst emphasized, the aggressor can fight with her – 1 – 1.5 years. even with old stolen equipment, Russia can still fight for some time. However, it should also be taken into account that the Russians are looking for alternative ways to circumvent the sanctions.
A failure in Russia is six months. Until new chains are built, after all, Russia will have enough money even for expensive smuggling,โ the analyst noted.
As Tishkevich explained, Ukrainians need to be in time for this window. That is, we must quantitatively and qualitatively build up equipment and deliver a powerful blow precisely in this period.
