< p _ngcontent-sc137="" class="news-annotation">According to the electoral legislation of Russia, the presidential elections there are expected in 2024. Experts suggest that until now, aggressor countries within the current limits may not exist at all.

This opinion was expressed by Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko. He announced his predictions on channel 24's stream.

There have been no legitimate elections in Russia for several decades – the result is always obvious. Therefore, now, according to the journalist, history is also not easy.

Empires are falling apart

“What kind of elections in Russia can we talk about now? Everyone says that there should be some kind of elections in 2024. I don’t understand at all in which country this should take place,” Yakovenko said.

I have strong suspicions that Russia will not remain within its current borders until 2024,” he added.

And noted that it seems to him that “the historical project “Russia” And Kremlin dictator Putin is now making every effort to do so.”

“All empires are falling apart. I don’t understand why Russia should be an exception. Putin is doing everything to make this happen. There is no doubt that Ukraine will win this war. General Zaluzny believes that 2023 will be decisive. From a military point of view, I am with him I won't discuss it,” he said.

However, the Russian journalist added, political history could also intervene here. That is, the aggressor's troops can no longer be defeated. Consequently, the conflict between Putin, the General Staff and the generals of the aggressor country as a whole can lead to the fact that no one will follow orders. Although the resource for war in Russia cannot yet exist.

In Russia, there is a split between the security forces and the military

The latest events taking place in Russia show that the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is in a difficult situations. Now the military is being arrested en masse there.

At first glance, this is imperceptible – this situation is rarely mentioned in the news and rarely discussed. “However, it was precisely against this background that Putin changed. The situation is getting out of his control. Valery Klochok, a political expert and head of the Tower Center for Public Analytics, told Channel 24 about this.
