There are reports that Iran will soon provide Russia with ballistic missiles. The occupiers will probably use them to attack Ukrainian territory.

The chairman of the public organization “Ukraine in NATO” told Channel 24 about this ” Yuri Romanyuk noted that there is information about the exercises that Russian specialists are undergoing at Iranian testing grounds. Perhaps they are mastering the skills of missile control there, which Tehran will transfer to them.

How will the world react

According to Yuriy Romanyuk, it is only a matter of time before Russia uses Iranian weapons on Ukrainian territory.

The world community will be able to organize a meeting of the UN Security Council, where these actions will once again be condemned. Apart from a political reaction, we (Ukraine – Channel 24) cannot expect anything else, – said the chairman of the public organization “Ukraine in NATO”.

He noted that sanctions no longer affect Iran, since this country has long been subject to all possible restrictions. It will be difficult for Western countries to react or somehow influence the transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia.

“There should be a different type of reaction, in particular the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense systems with modern systems that are capable of shooting down ballistic missiles. There is talk about Patriot and SAMP/T, as well as an increase in the number of F-16s,” Romanyuk noted.

How to counter the shelling

Yuri Romanyuk believes that it would be advisable if Ukraine had the ability to destroy the likely places of concentration of weapons that Iran will transfer to Russia.

But for this we need satellite intelligence information from NATO member countries and others. Then it will be possible to destroy them (missile launchers – 24 Kanal) preemptively, – he said.

The chairman of the public organization “Ukraine in NATO” added that the only method of counteraction is the forceful option, because Russia will stop at nothing.
