The advance of the enemy continues in the East. However, the Ministry of Defense is preparing for any scenario, since Russia's goal to capture all of Ukraine has not changed.

On the air of the news telethon, Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that Russia has not given up on the idea of seizing all of Ukraine, Channel 24 reports.

The enemy changed strategy and launched an offensive in the East

Anna Malyar stressed that now the enemy is on the offensive in the East. Now there, without exaggeration, fierce battles continue.

It has been going on since the beginning of January, when the enemy became more active and gathered his forces. Now professional and numerous units of Wagner are gathering in the Bakhmut area,” she said.

The deputy minister clarified that despite the fact that the enemy is really strong and prevails in numbers, the losses of the Russians are high and much more than ours.

According to her, now the occupiers have decided to act by region. That is, they do not leave their goal to capture the whole of Ukraine, the war continues, but right now the offensive is taking place in the East.

We must understand that there can be any scenarios. But now the offensive is taking place in the East on several fronts. And the hottest of them is Bakhmutsky now, – Malyar said.

What is the situation at the front now: the main thing

  • Russia continues its offensive in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky directions.
  • In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive, and in some sectors he is trying to create conditions for going over to the offensive.
  • At the same time, the Russians maintain their units near the state border of Ukraine, but the formation of offensive groups has not yet been detected.
  • Meanwhile, the aircraft of the Defense Forces of Ukraine delivered 3 strikes on enemy concentration areas in a day. At the same time, units of missile troops and artillery hit the area of concentration of manpower and the area of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the enemy, as well as 2 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems of the occupiers.
