Russia is spreading another fake with the aim of undermining Ukrainian-American bilateral relations.
Russian occupiers have begun to spread another fake on social networks. This time it concerns Donald Trump, whom they recently tried to kill during his public appearance. The Russian Federation believes that there is a “Ukrainian trace” in this situation.
This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
As noted, Russia is spreading a fake that supposedly the US authorities need to consider the version with the participation of Ukrainian special services in the attempted murder of US presidential candidate Donald Trump, since this is dictated by Ukraine’s negative attitude towards Trump. This was stated by Senator of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Sergei Tsekov, who was quoted by propaganda telegram channels.
“Truth: Ukraine respects the will of the American people. In 2017-2021, during the tenure of Donald Trump as President of the United States, Ukraine built constructive relations with the United States, as during the tenure of any American president. Ukraine strongly condemned the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and expressed condolences to the deceased participant in the election rally, during which the attempted murder occurred,” the Center noted.
At the same time, Russia is spreading another fake news with the aim of blowing up Ukrainian-American bilateral relations and discrediting Ukraine among the Republican Party electorate. This is one of the manifestations of an information operation aimed at Russian interference in the US political process.
