At the same time, a Reuters report says the secret document warns that the Kremlin is actively preparing for a major conflict against NATO before the end of this decade, with Moscow coordinating both its industrial and leadership structures to do so.
According to the report, which cites a strategic document, Russia is indeed preparing for a possible conflict with NATO, in particular by increasing its military presence on its western borders bordering the countries of the North Atlantic bloc.
According to media reports, as early as next year the number of Russian military personnel on active duty could reach approximately 1.5 million people.
