Russia may introduce visas for Ukrainians

The Russian Foreign Ministry says that the response measures for the introduction by Kyiv of a visa regime for Russians“do not necessarily have to be mirrored”.

Let us recall that a visa regime has begun to operate between Ukraine and Russia. That is, Russians cannot enter the territory of Ukraine without a visa. It should be noted that this also applies to residents of border areas. The corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and began to operate on July 1.

Visas for Russians: what is known

At the State Border the service was told that in order for Russians to enter the territory of Ukraine, it would be necessary to have a certain list of documents. And not every citizen of the aggressor country can get a visa. We are talking about those who are on the sanctions lists, and also threaten the national security of our state.

People's Deputy Oleg Dunda noted that after the introduction of a visa regime with an aggressor state, the issue of the same regime should be on the agenda with Belarus. After all, this country became an accomplice in the attack on us and helped the Russians.
