Russia is moving a large number of anti-aircraft missiles towards Ukraine. The transfer of equipment by the Russian military was recorded by satellite images.
Satellite images were received by the Finnish publication Yle. It is reported that the enemy is moving anti-aircraft missiles from one of the most important areas for Russian air defense – from near St. Petersburg.
Satellite images show that in the summer, both mobile firing platforms and missiles disappeared from the base near Zelenogorsk on the Karelian Isthmus northwest of St. Petersburg.
It is noted that St. Petersburg is cordoned off by a protective ring of 14 anti-aircraft missile bases. Military expert, retired major Mark Eklund said that, judging by the pictures, four of them are empty.

Marco Eklund believes that older equipment was removed, which is unlikely to greatly weaken the air defense of St. Petersburg. In his opinion, the S-300 systems were transferred, and more modern S-400s remained.
Note. The Russian military has been using S-300 systems for shelling Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions for a long time.
Below are two pictures from a rocket battery near the village of Kerstovo, showing that all rocket launchers have been removed. One picture shows a row of 12 of them in the upper right corner. The first photo is a year ago, the last one is at the beginning of September 2022.

One and a half kilometers to the northeast there is another battery of the same regiment, which is also completely devastated. Only the equipment of the radar station remains.

Changes indicating that Russia is deploying missile systems can be seen at a base east of St. Petersburg, close to the shores of Lake Ladoga. According to Eklund, containers with missiles were loaded onto transport platforms in May.
The upload confirms that while the equipment should normally be laid out in even rows, the image has empty spaces with vehicles next to them.
Also, the second image shows that not only the missile containers have disappeared, but also a number of cars. Up to 120 missiles could be removed from the test site in missile containers.

In addition, about 10 firing platforms and other equipment were transferred from a base southeast of St. Petersburg.
