Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman told channel 24 about this. He stressed that the world has a rule of “adequate self-esteem”, which is important for every person – you need to understand how smart, stupid, what you understand.

In his opinion, now in Russia they inadequately assess their diplomacy, their influence in the world, among international organizations. “Here they are sure that the IAEA will now write that it was all 'the Ukrainian military blew everything up'. This is inadequate self-assessment,” he says.
The political strategist added that he also works with propaganda – the Russians themselves were carried away by it, and did not adequately assess what it leads to. This is a big mistake.
Russia wants to strengthen the army at the expense of the Ukrainians in order to go to Europe
Sheitelman said that Russia wants from Ukraine not just a raw materials appendage, it wants to make Ukrainians Russian, destroy the Ukrainian language and culture and integrate Ukrainians.
What for? To make a stronger army and go attack Europe. This is their purpose. Everything is serious here, unfortunately, and we are definitely not talking about a raw material appendage, they have enough of this. – he said.
According to him, there are no quality people in Russia, so she came here to attract quality people. “They have a very low level of human development, and in Ukraine it is much higher, so they came to captivate us,” he said.
The political strategist assured that Russia's goal in the war against Ukraine is the total integration of Ukrainians into Russia itself, and not an attempt to make it a “gray zone” between the Russian Federation and the West.
They did not hide this from the very beginning of the war. And only then they began to invent fairy tales about some enclaves. The goal was to capture Kyiv, make a parade on Khreshchatyk, overthrow the leadership of drug addicts and Nazis. It sounded constant. This is all true and there is no doubt,” Sheitelman explained.
He added that this was their plan and they did not refuse it.
