Russia has strengthened the Kursk group: from which directions the Russians have redeployed troops Melania Golembyovskaya

~6 0~p _ngcontent-sc101 class=”news-annotation”>The Kursk operation has been going on for over 2 months, the Russians have withdrawn some of their troops from many directions. However, only the amount that would not bring a feeling of deficit.

Thus, some of the troops “North”, “West” and several other groups are already fighting in the Kursk region. Military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko told Channel 24 about this, noting that the Donetsk direction remains a priority for Russia.

From which directions did the Russians transfer troops to Kursk region

The military-political observer said that the Russians are not withdrawing their troops from the Donetsk region, because it is a priority for them. The occupiers do not have plans to weaken the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions.

In relation to other bridgeheads, they tried to take such a number of their troops to the Kursk region that would not allow them to feel the imbalance of capabilities, that is, weakening.

The Kursk group was mainly formed from units of the Leningrad Military District, which, by the way, provides for the entire “North” group of forces. On the other hand, they were reinforced by the “West” group of troops, which was responsible for the Kupyansk direction, Kovalenko explained.

In addition, the “Dnepr” group of troops is operating in the Kursk region, which is concentrated on the left bank of the Kherson region and the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhia region.

Please note! Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported that Russia has transferred about 50 thousand troops to the Kursk region. This weakened Russian positions in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions and in the Kramatorsk direction.

The occupiers also took units from the Vostok group of forces and even the group of forces for the defense of Crimea.

It was from these directions that the Russians first transferred troops. Vladimir Putin has a higher priority to capture some village in the Donetsk region than to begin liberating the Kursk region, the military-political observer noted.

We recall that the head of the Central Dispatch Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalenko reported that in the Kursk region the Russian command is trying to displace the Ukrainian Armed Forces before the onset of bad weather, intensifying mechanized attacks. The situation in the region is dynamic, with constant changes and heavy fighting.
