Russia has already used 60% of stocks of high-precision weapons/Defense Express
Russian troops used most of their precision weapons. The aggressor country is rapidly depleting these reserves.
This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky.
He stated that the first 2 months of a full-scale invasion were rocket attacks were disorderly. Subsequently, the situation has changed.
According to our data, if we talk about high-precision weapons, then about 60% of stocks have already been used. For some species, even more – 70%. There are relevant regulatory requirements for the threshold level that must be kept in the troops, and for the same Iskanders this threshold level has almost come, – Skibitsky noted.
At the same time, Russia cannot replenish supplies like this as fast as the Soviet Union.
“They do not have such capacities and rapid production of high-precision weapons, especially the economic sanctions, political sanctions that are imposed on Russia, do not now allow the active, large-scale use of foreign-made components,” the representative of the Ukrainian intelligence emphasized.
Russians change tactics
According to Ukrainian intelligence officers, the Russians have changed the tactics of using high-precision weapons. If earlier 2 or 4 missiles were used on an object, now the object and target are clearly chosen, and then from 8 to 12 missiles of various formats are fired at it. Either ballistic or cruise missiles, land-based, or sea-based, air-based, in order to be ready to hit this target.
