Russian invaders killed 243 children in Ukraine. At least 444 minors have been injured.
In total, more than 687 children have been injured since the start of the full-scale invasion. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General on May 30.
As of the morning of May 30, 2022, more than 687 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 243 children were killed and more than 444 were injured.
On May 29, Russian infidels fired artillery at the village of Myrolyubovka, Kherson region. As a result, a 9-year-old girl died. Two more children: a 7-month-old baby and a 5-year-old girl were injured.
On May 26, the enemy shelled Lisichansk, Luhansk region. There were no casualties. The Russians wounded a 16-year-old teenager.
On May 25, a 3-year-old boy was wounded as a result of the shelling of glass in Studenok, Izyumsky district, Kharkiv region.
The data are not accurate, because prosecutors are trying to investigate the places of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Children suffered the most in the following regions:
- Donetsk region – 153;
- Kyiv region – 116;
- Kharkov region – 109;
- Chernihiv – 68;
- Lugansk – 52;
- Kherson – 52;
- Nikolaev – 47;
- Zaporizhzhya – 29;
- Sumskaya – 17;
- in Kyiv – 16;
- Zhytomyr – 15.
