The corps is based in Mulino, in the Nizhny Novgorod region. It is likely that most of it will be newly formed volunteer battalions.
These battalions are formed by the aggressor state throughout the country, they unite “recruits” from the same areas.
How “recruits” are lured “
The 3rd Corps is offering cash bonuses to potential recruits after they are sent to Ukraine. They recruit men under the age of 50, only with a secondary education.
Intelligence adds that the Russian army usually consists of 15-20 thousand military personnel, but it will probably be difficult for the invaders to bring the corps to this number. The fact is that the Russians no longer want to go to death in Ukraine. Even the promised “bonuses” are not tempting.
The effect of the new army corps is unlikely to be decisive for the campaign, intelligence is convinced.
The British Ministry of Defense added that Russian commanders continue to face the competing operational priorities of stepping up their offensive in Donbas and strengthening their defenses in the South. They wanted to solve these problems with the help of a new case.
