Russia is preparing for the second phase of its offensive against Ukraine. The Russians will definitely try to take revenge, especially before May 9.
However, the occupiers now have huge problems. Military expert Viktor Yagun said this on air on Channel 24.
According to him, these problems are not only with equipment. Although intelligence reports that the Russians now have few armored vehicles and, in general, opportunities. They are already removing some of the equipment from their stocks.
“This is actually equipment that they cannot use right away. 30 – 40%, and sometimes more – are simply unusable. They urgently need to restore it and for this time is needed,” the expert said.

However, the main problem is manpower. For example, there may be planes, but there are no normal pilots, since Ukraine has thinned out their ranks quite powerfully.
Therefore, it is difficult to say exactly when the second phase of the offensive will take place. Most likely, not earlier than in a week. Because they have huge problems, – Yagun stressed.
Moreover, the moral and psychological situation now in the combat units of Russia, which were already on the territory of Ukraine, is very deplorable. They may simply not complete them.
“The situation is dragging on, they must tighten their reserves. But the fact that the Russians will try to take revenge, especially before May 9, is unequivocal,” the specialist added.
