Russia is forced to transfer additional units to the Kursk region, – National Guard Yaroslav Pogonchuk

Russian occupation forces are forced to transfer additional units to the Kursk region. This affects the enemy's activity not only in the north of the Kharkiv region, but also in other areas of the front.

Channel 24 reports, citing National Guard spokesman Ruslan Muzychuk, on air during the telethon. He noted that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region is aimed at creating difficult conditions for the occupiers and disrupting their logistics.

What is the situation in the Kursk region

Muzychuk reported that in the north of the Kharkiv region, along the border with the Sumy region and other sections of the front, the Russians have reduced their activity.

The enemy is forced to pull out its units from the southern directions and from other directions in order to strengthen the group specifically in the Kursk region, he noted.

According to the speaker, the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units in the Kursk region is aimed at complicating the conditions for the enemy located there, as well as disrupt its logistics.

“We see now, even these days, that the activity of our Armed Forces is aimed at holding this section, this initiative. As for the enemy's activity, in particular now in the north of the Kharkiv region, or the activity of its sabotage and reconnaissance groups, in general this trend has decreased in those sections of the border where our units carry out tasks together with the State Border Service,” he added.

The speaker emphasized that the threat from enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups still exists, but the Defense Forces are monitoring the situation based on their activity. Muzychuk also noted that the occupiers often resort to information and psychological operations.
