In the past few days, Russia has been shelling Ukraine regularly. As Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny noted, the enemy fired more than 130 missiles at our state in 4 days.
Valery Zaluzhny said that he had a telephone conversation with the head of the US Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. He also had the opportunity to talk with the Chief of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin. He reported to them about the recent missile strikes against Ukraine.
The audacity of Russians knows no bounds
During the conversations, Zaluzhny spoke about the demonstration of a fair amount of insolence by the enemy. After all, over the past 4 days, he hit the territory of Ukraine more than 130 times:
- 4 days ago – 53 cruise missiles;
- 3 days ago – 26 missiles;
- 2 days ago – almost 40 missiles;
- last day (June 27) – 12 missiles.
Unfortunately , a targeted rocket attack on a shopping center in Kremenchug claimed lives and injured civilians,” Zaluzhny stressed.
It should be understood that the risk of missile attacks has not disappeared. The enemy is attacking the territory of Ukraine both from the temporarily occupied Crimea, and from the Caspian Sea and Belarus. Therefore, in no case ignore air raid alerts. As soon as the siren sounds, go immediately to the shelter. Stay there until there is a message about the end.
The day before, Ukraine was stirred up by a rocket attack on Kremenchug. This time the enemy decided to choose the most crowded place and hit him when there are a lot of people.
Dozens of wounded and at least 20 dead
- After lunch on June 27, the Russian military fired several rockets at once at Kremenchug. Unfortunately, one of them ended up in the Amstor shopping center. During the air raid, its administration decided not to close it.
- As Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, there were about 1,000 people in the building before the missile strike. Fortunately, not everyone ignored the siren. So those who went to the shelter managed to escape.
- As for the missile hit itself, it caused a large-scale fire. According to the rescuers, the fire covered about 10 thousand square meters. Hundreds of firefighters, as well as dozens of units of special equipment, were involved in the liquidation.
- On June 28, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko at a briefing new data on the victims of the missile attack. He noted that more than 20 people died at the hands of the enemy. Another 59 were injured. Several of them are in critical condition.
