The shock wave and debris destroyed the building's façade, knocked out all the windows, damaged the floors, and partially collapsed the walls. The interior of the warehouse and office rooms were also damaged.
“This is what part of our workspace looks like after the ‘Russian World’,” the publishing house reported, publishing a photo from the scene.
As a result of the shelling and subsequent firefighting, some of the books were damaged. Fortunately, no employees were injured.
Now watching
The publishing house warned that it had temporarily suspended the dispatch of orders. The entire team is now busy restoring the warehouse. The website and call center continue to function, and they plan to resume dispatch next week.
“We know what we are fighting for. We publish books that build strength, critical thinking and dignity – what Russia fears most. So you won't get any,” the publishing house team responded to the occupiers' attack.
Recall that at least 23 people were injured in the night attack on Kyiv, including a ten-year-old girl. According to Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat, Russia carried out a record-breaking attack, launching 550 air targets at Ukraine, of which more than 330 were Shahed attack drones.
