Zelensky said that Russia can only be forced to stop/Office of the President
< strong _ngcontent-sc83="">President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the South Korean Parliament on April 11th. He assured: it is useless to hope that Russia will stop itself.
He spoke about all the destruction and losses of Ukraine because of Russia. And they are not going to stop, but on the contrary, they are preparing a new offensive, Channel 24 reports.
There is not and cannot be any hope that Russia will simply stop on its own. There is no hope that reason will prevail and the Russian leadership will refuse to continue this war. Russia can only be forced to do it,” the president assured.
He stressed that Ukraine formed an anti-war coalition after the start of this harsh Russian invasion.
“Already unprecedented sanctions were applied against it, but they little. Russia still does not feel that it should stop. This means that even more needs to be done,” Zelensky said.
He also listed what steps they imply:
- < li>completely sever ties between Russian banks and the global financial system;
- limit Russian energy exports;
- global companies should stop being sponsors of this barbaric state.
< p> According to Zelensky, the more companies stop working there and pay taxes, the sooner reason will win.
