Russia can launch up to 500 drones, but not daily – Budanov

by alex

Russian forces have the technical capability to launch up to 500 drones against Ukraine at a time, but they are not capable of carrying out such massive attacks on a daily basis.

Russia is capable of launching 550 drones simultaneously

This was reported by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, during a briefing with journalists on July 2.

Answering a question about the possibility of daily massive drone strikes by the enemy, Budanov noted that “it is unrealistic to do this every day. They will do it periodically. Unfortunately, they have such a capability. They can actually launch up to 500 in a single launch.”

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate also drew attention to technological innovations in drones used by the occupiers. In particular, this concerns the modernization of antennas.

“They are improving CRP antennas, switching to 16-channel ones,” Budanov noted, referring to the new 16-channel antennas with controlled signal directionality.

Let us recall that earlier Kirill Budanov reported that the situation at the front was getting worse.

This situation, in his opinion, will last until the completion of peace negotiations.
