Russian invaders in the evening on Independence Day launched a missile attack on the urban-type settlement of Chaplino in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Enemies got into passenger cars.
As a result of the enemy attack, dozens of pre-tens of deaths, among them a child. This cynical crime of the Kremlin became known on the evening of August 24.

On Independence Day, August 24, the Russian army attacked Chaplino twice. First, approximately at 15:00 Russian infidels destroyed a private house. Then 3 people were under the rubble – a woman and 2 children.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko also said:
- as a result of the first attack, a woman and a 13-year-old teenager were rescued local residents. Unfortunately, rescuers were already getting the deceased 11-year-old boy out of the rubble;
- subsequently, the Russians attacked Chaplino, first with one rocket, and then with three more.
The first attack damaged the outbuildings of the railway, the subsequent ones hit the railway station, the deputy added head of the OP.
Enemies got into the railway station on the evening of August 24th. There were people in the railway cars.
Russians hit the cars with people
Approximately at 20:52, Volodymyr Zelensky, while addressing the UN Security Council, said that during the rocket attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians hit the Chaplino station.
The war crime of the invaders claimed the lives of 15 people, – said the president.
However, he warned that the death toll could increase. Approximately 50 people were also injured. According to the data, on the evening of August 24, it was known that 4 passenger cars at the station had flared up, rescuers, doctors and law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene.
Four passenger cars are on fire. Rescuers are working. But, unfortunately, the death toll may still increase,” the president said.
He added that a Russian missile hit a passenger train car directly. The blast wave also damaged cars near the station.

The number of Russians killed as a result of the strike in Chaplin has increased
During his evening address, Volodymyr Zelensky said that as of 23:20 on August 24, the number of victims as a result of the strike in Chaplin has increased – 22 have already died, of five of them were burned in the car.
The President also recalled that a teenager died that day, he was 11 years old. His building was destroyed by a Russian missile. Added that search and rescue operations at the railway station will continue .
“We will definitely make the infidels answer for everything they have done. And we will definitely throw invaders from our land,” the president stressed.
According to him, no spot of this evil will remain in free Ukraine, and we will go our way to victory, which will certainly come.
