Russia announced a payment to the families of the soldiers who died in Ukraine/Radio Liberty

For families in which a soldier died in Ukraine, Russia announced a payment in the amount of one million rubles. However, not everyone will be able to see this money.

It is known that on April 30, 2022, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the payment of 3 million rubles to the relatives of the wounded Russian military and 5 million rubles to the relatives of the dead.

This money should have a good effect on the number of citizens during mobilization, because for such amounts the rashists are ready to risk their lives.

But according to these statements, there is a bitter reality in which Russia records the majority of those killed soldiers as missing, so as not to pay this compensation, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation reported.

An example of such actions of an aggressor country is Yegor Shkrebets, a conscript who died on the cruiser Moskva, who was officially recognized as missing news.

What is known about the “missing” sailor

Russian Dmitry Shkrebets is trying to find his conscript son Yegor. The guy served on the “Moscow”, and now – declared missing. The military prosecutor's office of the Black Sea Fleet cynically stated that the ship “was not included in the list of military formations and units that are involved in the special military operation.” At the same time, they claim that the cruiser allegedly did not enter the territorial waters of Ukraine.

In addition, the prosecutor's office told the father that his son had not returned to the military unit. This happened after “extraordinary circumstances” led to the sinking of the ship.

Russia's spending on the war with Ukraine

The Kremlin spends about $900 million on the war every day. This was announced by military analyst Sean Spunts. They spend these funds on payments to the Russian military, providing them with ammunition, bullets and missiles, and the cost of repairing lost or damaged military equipment. These figures do not take into account the losses Russia suffered due to the imposition of sanctions.
